The Canadian Ministry of Immigration states that translated documents remain valid as long as the original texts haven't been altered before they expire. Any expired signatures from professional translators or notaries do not change the legal validity of the translated document. The translator's active certification is required upon signing the translation, which is then regarded as a genuine document.
The translation will remain valid until the original document is either modified or expires. If the applicant submits the updated document, a new translation will be required.
