Certified translator A certified translator is a member in good standing of a professional translation association in Canada or abroad. Their certification must be confirmed by a seal or stamp that shows the translator’s membership number.
I typically need scans or high-quality images for translation. Please send them to me via email (igor@isaev.ca), WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook, or regular text message. You may also bring them to my office in person.
All translations are certified with the certified translator's signature and official stamp.
If necessary, I may have my translations notarized at an additional expense.
Only public notaries in Canada are legally authorized to certify copies as identical to the original. I can take your original documents to a notary and certify copies on your behalf (for an additional cost). I include a copy of the original document with my translation bundle.
Yes, I would be pleased to provide assistance on a turnkey basis. I will authenticate, apostille, and legalize your documents; please contact igor@isaev.ca for more information.
Here is the most comprehensive guide to apostilling Canadian documents for use in foreign countries. It contains several samples, images, descriptions, and illustrations of apostilles. I tested everything on hundreds of Canadian clients.
The Canadian Ministry of Immigration's official website states:
A translation must maintain consistency over time and remain valid indefinitely unless the original document has been modified or has expired. The expiration of a certified translator's or notary's signature does not make the translation invalid. If the translator's certification was valid at the time of signing, the translation remains valid.
A new translation will be required only if the original document has expired or undergone changes and the applicant submits a new document.
