I answer commonly asked questions about the requirements for certified translation. My translation service helps you manage every project for various demands and ensures that your documents adhere to official standards.
Certified translator A certified translator is a member in good standing of a professional translation association in Canada or abroad. Their certification must be confirmed by a seal or stamp that shows the translator’s membership number.
One of my stamps is shown over the text.
I normally need scans or high-quality images for translation purposes. Please send them to me via email (igor@isaev.ca), WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook, or regular text messaging. You may also deliver them to my office in person.
Absolutely, I ensure that all translations are authenticated in the certified translator's handwriting, complete with a signature and a distinctive red stamp.
If needed, I can have my translations notarized for an additional fee.
Only public notaries in Canada are legally authorized to certify copies as being equivalent to the original. I can take your original documents to a notary and certify copies on your behalf (for an additional cost). I include a copy of the source document with my translation bundle.
Yes, I am willing to assist on a turnkey basis. I will apostille, authenticate, and legalize your documents; for further information, please email igor@isaev.ca.
Here is the most thorough guide to apostilling Canadian papers for use in other countries. It contains several samples, photos, descriptions, and illustrations of apostilles. I tested everything on hundreds of Canadian clients.
In accordance with the Canadian Ministry of Immigration, a translation should be regarded as permanent, as it remains unchanged over time, unless the original text has been altered or has expired. Even if the signature of a professional translator or notary has expired, the translation remains valid. The translation is acceptable provided that the translator's certification is valid at the time of signature.
The translation is subject to expiration and will require a new translation if the source document is updated or expires, and the applicant submits a new document.
