The official website of the Canadian Ministry of Immigration indicates:
A translation is fixed and should retain its validity indefinitely, unless the original document has been altered or has reached its expiration. The translation remains valid regardless of whether the signature of a certified translator or notary has expired. The translation is considered valid as long as the translator's certification was up to date at the time of signing.
The translation will continue to be valid unless the source document has expired or been modified; in such cases, the applicant is required to submit a new document.
