I reply to frequently asked questions on the standards for certified translation. My translation service guarantees that your documents comply with official standards and supports you in managing every project for wide purposes.
A certified translator is a member in good standing of a professional translation association in Canada or abroad. Their certification must be confirmed by a seal or stamp that shows the translator’s membership number.
Over the text is one of my stamps.
For translation purposes, I usually need scans or high-quality images. Please submit your documents to me through email at igor@isaev.ca, WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook, or regular text message. You may also bring them to my office in person.
My certified translations feature the translator’s signature and an official stamp if needed. Example of what it looks like
Should notarisation be necessary, I can obtain it for an extra fee.
In Canada, only the local notary public is legally authorized to certify true copies as identical to originals. I can take your original documents to a notary and certify copies on your behalf (at an extra fee). I send a copy of the original document with my translation package.
Yes, I am willing to help on a turnkey basis. I will apostille, authenticate, and legalize your documents; for more information, contact igor@isaev.ca.
Here is the most complete guide to apostille Canadian documents for use in other countries. It includes several samples, images, explanations, and illustrations of apostilles. I assessed everything for hundreds of Canadian clients.
The Canadian Ministry of Immigration's official website states:
A translation is stable and should retain its validity indefinitely unless the original document has been altered or has reached its expiration. The translation remains valid regardless of whether the signature of a certified translator or notary has expired. The translation is considered valid as long as the translator's certification is up to date at the time of signing.
The translation will continue to be valid unless the source document has expired or been modified; in that case, the applicant is required to submit a new one.
