Certified Translator A certified translator is a member in good standing of a professional translation association in Canada or abroad. Their certification must be confirmed by a seal or stamp that shows the translator’s membership number.
One of my stamps is shown over the text.
I normally need scans or high-quality pictures for translation needs. Kindly submit them to me via email at igor@isaev.ca, WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook, or conventional text messaging. You may also bring them to my office in person.
Certified translations include the translator’s signature and, where applicable, an official stamp. Example of what it looks like
Notarization is available on request for an extra charge.
In Canada, only public notaries are legally authorized to certify copies identical to the originals. I can take your original documents to a notary and certify copies on your behalf (at an extra fee). I include a copy of the source document in my translation package.
Yes, I am willing to assist on a turnkey basis. I will apostille, authenticate, and legalize your documents; please contact igor@isaev.ca for more information.
Here is a comprehensive guide on apostilling Canadian documents for official use in other countries. The document contains a range of samples, photographs, descriptions, and illustrations of apostilles. I evaluated all aspects related to various Canadian clients.
According to the Canadian Ministry of Immigration, a translation should be regarded as permanent since it remains constant throughout time unless the original text has been edited or has expired. The translation is valid even if a notary or professional translator's signature expires. The validity of the translation depends on the validity of the translator's signed certification.
The translation will only expire if the applicant submits a new document due to changes in or expiration of the original. In such cases, a new translation will be required.
