Certified translator A certified translator is a member in good standing of a professional translation association in Canada or abroad. Their certification must be confirmed by a seal or stamp that shows the translator's membership number.
One of my stamps is shown above before the text.
I typically require scans or high-quality photographs for translation. Kindly submit them to me via email at igor@isaev.ca, through WhatsApp or Telegram, on Facebook, or by standard text message. You may also deliver them to my office in person.
Yes, we certify all translations with the certified translator's handwriting, including a signature and red stamp. Example of how it looks like
If necessary, I may have my translations notarized for an additional fee.
In Canada, only public notaries are legally authorized to certify copies as accurate to the originals. I can take your original documents to a notary and certify copies on your behalf (for an additional cost). I include a copy of the original document with my translation package. Example of a package
Yes, I will gladly assist on a turnkey basis. We will apostille, authenticate, and legalize your documents; please e-mail igor@isaev.ca for details.
Here is the most comprehensive guide to apostilling Canadian documents for use in other countries. It contains several samples, photographs, explanations, and illustrations of the apostilles. I tested everything on hundreds of Canadian clients.
According to the official website of the Canadian Ministry of Immigration:
Expiry of translated documents A translation cannot change over time and should be valid indefinitely unless the original document has changed or has expired. If the signature of a certified translator or notary has expired, it does not invalidate the translation. As long as the translator's certification was valid at the time of signature, the translation remains valid. The only time the translation would expire and a new translation would be required is if the original document has expired or has changed and the applicant submits a new document.
